Most of us can’t remember when was the last check done for our cats and in some unfortunate cases, the cats has never been for a visit at all.

In conjunction with the National Take Your Cat To The Vet Day on August 22nd let us be mindful as cat owners to pay a visit to the Vets.

This eventful day originating from the Unites States has been successfully celebrated for several years now with valuable objectives behind it. The American Association of Feline Practitioners and The International Cat Association are examples of cat organizations that work in hand to spread the awareness of the importance of having a day of such.

The reason behind the importance of National Take Your Cat To The Vet Day are:

Cats are relatively good in masking, not showing signs of illness, pain or discomfort at early stages of the disease. Often owners notice the changes to their cats at later stages, but by then a significant toll has taken on the cats.

Cats that are managed outdoors, risk contracting dangerous diseases from stray cats, found roaming the streets.

While keeping your furry ones inside is likely to protect him or her from danger, you and your household members could potentially still bring in pathogens such as virus and parasites in, via foot wares which in turn puts your cats at risk. Some diseases go unnoticed by owners, as cats very well develop good coping mechanism to conditions that they succumb to.

Great news, Royal Canin Malaysia is proudly bringing this campaign to Malaysia, not just for ONE day but for an ENTIRE WEEK. Let us all pledge for this good cause in ensuring no time is wasted to take your cat to the vet from 19th to 25th of August 2019. It will be a great opportunity to check if your loving companions are in good health.
